About Us

Chequers Lodge is a newly renovated property, purchased in 2020 and officially opened in 2023, comprising 15 serviced rooms. We offer a variety of room types for our guests, including King size rooms with kitchenettes, Double rooms with kitchenettes, King size rooms, Single rooms, and a ground floor accessible room.

Chequers Lodge is located in Dalton-in-Furness, just an 11-minute walk to the train station and only a 17-minute drive south of the Lake District National Park. Quietly nestled between the towns of Barrow-in-Furness and Ulverston, Chequers Lodge boasts 15 spacious en-suite bedrooms along with free, secure on-site parking.

Each room at Chequers Lodge features stylish décor and includes an en-suite bathroom with a shower and complimentary toiletries. Guests can enjoy a smart TV, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities in every room. Additional amenities include reading lights, sockets with built-in USB ports, a hairdryer, and ironing facilities, to name just a few.

Although we do not serve breakfast or have a restaurant on site, Dalton offers a wide selection of fantastic local restaurants, all within walking distance. We are always happy to recommend a few of our favourites.

We operate a no pets policy and are an adults-only establishment. Family rooms are planned in our next phase of development.
