About Us

Chequers Lodge is a newly renovated property which comprises of 15 serviced rooms. We currently have various room types for our guests, these include King size rooms with kitchenettes, Double room with kitchenette, King size rooms, single Room and a ground floor accessible room. 

Chequers Lodge is located in Dalton-In-Furness, which is 11 minutes walk to the train station and just 17 minutes drive south of the Lake District National Park. Chequers Lodge is quietly nestled between the towns of Barrow-in-Furness and Ulverston. Chequers Lodge boasts 15  spacious bedrooms with en-suites and free on-site secure parking.

Each of the rooms at Chequers Lodge has stylish décor and features an en-suite bathroom with a shower and complimentary toiletries. Our guests can enjoy in each room a smart TV, free Wi-Fi access, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Each room is equipped with reading lights, sockets with built in USB ports, a hairdryer. ironing facilities just to name a few.  

Although we don't serve breakfast or have a restaurant on site, Dalton boasts many fantastic local restaurants and are all in walking distance. We have a few favourites to recommend.
