Our rooms at Chequers Lodge are perfect for corporate guests working locally in the area. Do you work away from home on a regular basis and looking for one of the best serviced accommodations in the area with free parking? Chequers Lodge has you covered. We are family run and have over 10 years experience accommodating business guests and have renovated Chequers Lodge with business guests in mind. BAE Systems is only a short drive away from Chequers Lodge.

Our room rates include bed linen, towels and all furnishings. Everything you need to make it a home from home. We have three different room types, take a look on the accommodation page for further details. We have 43'' smart TV's in every room including super fast Wi-Fi throughout the building. 

Our free spacious carpark is available without pre booking and you can arrive whenever is convenient for you. Your room key will be waiting in the secure key box once the payment has been received inside the reception porch. You will receive a text to confirm your room number on your day of arrival and key box code so you are not tied to reception check in times.

Also the manager of the property lives on site so they are contactable either in person or telephone at all times. Our friendly team are happy to help and make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

We are currently developing more rooms on site and also a new comfortable lounge area which will soon be accessible to our guests. We will be getting various vending machines for your convenience. 

Although we don't have a restaurant on site, we have a fantastic pub that is a short walk away that serves great food and beverages. You can find menus in the rooms if you prefer to eat out or you can order a takeaway to eat in. There are many great options to choose from. 

If hotel stays are not for you we have more accommodation available on short term let basis. Located on the outskirts of Barrow- in-Furness in a quiet rural location minutes from town. This is where we already accommodate corporate tenants in BAE systems/ Morgan Sindall/ Jacobs and have done for many years. Please contact us for more information.
